MY JOURNEY

I have come to my vision of Mental Skills Training through my journey in college athletics, where I was a team captain and an All-Conference selection playing for Azusa Pacific University on a full-ride scholarship. Over the course of my career, I dove deep into positive psychology - specifically intrinsic motivation and flow states. I also became extremely interested in mindfulness and meditation, spending every Sunday at a local Buddhist temple learning how to practice. Intuitively, I knew how powerful the mind was and was eager to learn how to best use my own!

While on this quest for deeper inner awareness, I saw who I truly was and the mental roadblocks that were holding me back. I realized I was struggling with my mental health, and I needed to make changes. With that said, I never was able to find someone who could consistently help me do the work necessary to improve my mental skills! 

I decided that I wanted to be that person for those seeking support in HOW to do the work and engage with their minds in a healthy way. I believe that my unique style and process with clients can offer them a new lens to see themselves and attain whatever it is that they value in life. I wake up everyday excited to assist those that I work with and I hope to continue to create a space for people to improve their mindset in a non-judgmental way.
